Background:
My family perused many different service providers in the Indianapolis metropolitan area. The amount of positive reviews across the years of operation which Home Heroes has been working was our first clue which indicated we wanted to utilize their company for our plumbing needs.

They didn't disappoint. In fact, they raised the bar as to what we will come to expect in future dealings with other companies.

They were knowledgeable, professional, and highly reasonable. They came to our home, reviewed our setup, and provided us a logical, forthright estimate, and didn't pressure us into unwanted accessories. They were accommodating with our personal needs, and supplied parts we needed for fixtures and sealants.

If you have "old plumbing" issues, a "water hammer", or simply want to upgrade faucets and plumbing trim with your own provided parts, they will do whatever it takes to make your vision come to life.

Travis and another tech were cheerful, polite and extremely knowledgeable. They did an outstanding job that even got compliments from my professional engineer brother.

They installed a heat pump hybrid water heater and a high efficiency water softener, rerouted the whole house water shutoff from the crawl space to the garage and installed two new outdoor faucets all in one day! It was a long day for them but they stuck it out to get me back up and running with water and my geothermal furnace that quickly.

They may not be the cheapest out there but their work and work ethic are outstanding. I will definitely use them again for any future needs. I trust them to do a good job and get it done quickly.

I do want to give an update. I’m still convinced I made a good choice in Home Heroes. They do excellent work and are very good at communicating.

I did, however, have a major leak occur in the garage a couple days after installation. A pipe came loose from the water softener and made a mess.

Home Heroes did take full responsibility for fixing the resulting drywall and outlet issues and had contractors out the same week at their expense after fixing the leak. They even installed fans and a dehumidifier in the crawl space to handle humidity issues that the sump pump couldn’t address.

Mistakes happens from time to time. What the people responsible do to clean the mess up is what really matters.

Home Heroes owned it and took care of it fully. I’m still glad I picked them. I will still pick them again for future needs.

I will start by saying that I had contacted Home Heroes previously about another plumbing job involving roughing in a shower in my basement. We weren’t quite ready to move forward with that project yet, but I liked the experience that I had with the person that came to the home as well as the service manager who put together a quote for me. So, when the need arose to replace a water heater, I reached out to Home Heroes. This was for a short term rental property that currently had tenants staying in it, so I needed to get the water heater repaired or replaced quickly. Justin arrived around the expected time (coming from another customer’s home), and he went over the troubleshooting steps I had gone through and did some testing to get an idea what the issue may have been. The unit that was in the home was past normal life expectancy, but they still gave me an option to replace a part that likely could’ve fixed it, but with no guarantee that it was going to fix it (due to it’s age), or for how long. They also provided an option to replace it same day, including a metal pan, a new ball valve, and an expansion tank. Dan walked me through the options and gave me his insight, listened to my concerns, and worked with me to make me feel comfortable moving forward with replacing the older device now, as well as offering an option for an additional service that would end up reducing my expense for the new water heater.

I ended up moving forward with replacing the new unit, as I did not want to invest hundreds of dollars on a part that might not have even fixed the problem for a short time. Justin went to get the unit and any additional supplies and came back in under two hours. He completed the work in a timely fashion, and I enjoyed my conversation with him throughout the process. Katie was also very nice when I spoke with her to set up the appointment. Overall, I had a great experience with them and would definitely recommend them!

Excellent service from booking an appointment to getting installation done! Was given a 2 hour window for the installers to arrive, got a call in the first minute narrowing it down. Installers arrived on time, got straight to work and got the job done much quicker than I expected. Installers did an outstanding job and even left the work area cleaner than when they arrived. Will highly recommend this company to everybody.

I had a great first-time experience with Home Heroes today. I called thinking they wouldn't be able to come out for at least several days due to the current snowstorm/cold weather, but Katie (who was very friendly and helpful!) was able to find me a same-day appointment. John was on time and did an extremely thorough job troubleshooting my furnace. He had the part I needed with him, and the entire service call with the part plus labor was very reasonably priced.

My furnace is on the older side, so I asked him about replacement options and costs. He said he could get me some numbers, but I felt absolutely no pressure from him at all. When the time comes to replace my current system, I'll definitely be using Home Heroes.

I have no complaints about the service or quality or anything - the only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 was because of the price. The estimate seemed quite expensive and even the price we negotiated was still pretty high. That being said, I’m not a plumber and have no idea what the going rates are/should be for plumbing projects, so it’s entirely possible that we actually got a great deal.

I definitely recommend Home Heros. They were very nice and very thorough. I was mostly impressed with them being so conscious about me having 2 cats and they did not leave any doors open leading to the outside for them to get out. They cleaned up after themselves and were so polite. I'm very glad to have found them and used them for some plumbing that needed done. Very reasonable on price. I called just before they closed and they were in my home by 1030 the next day. They called in the morning to discuss my project and set a time frame. We discovered a gas leak on a Sunday and the gas company confirmed it and shut off the gas. I called Home Heroes on Sunday and they answered and got me on the schedule for Monday. When Kevin and Chad arrived they did an excellent job explaining what happened and giving me options for the repair. It was reasonably priced and by 12:30 on Monday (less then 24 hours) the gas was on and we had hot water. Great company and very easy to work with.
